She is well known for the roles she played as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant which aired in 2005 in the series Point Pleasant, which airs on Fox and as Marcy Bender in the Dawson's Run series. The actress played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light the role which won her a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination as Outstanding Newcomer. From 2007 through 2008 Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas on the ABC television show Women's Murder Club. Dollar played the role of Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in the year 2012. The show wasn't renewed.
