She was in two episodes of Showtime's Weeds, starring Mary Louise Parker. She was known as Judy Kramer, a Fox show from 2005, and Marcy Bender from Dawson's Run. On the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar appeared as Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award by Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until 2008 on ABC's Women's Murder Club. Dollar starred on the 2012 NBC Happy Valley pilot which wasn't picked up.
