Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children - was born at Woodland Hills, California in 1956. Her parents were her mother, who was household worker and father who was a teacher. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three oldest brothers. McCormick started singing and performing from a young age. She was crowned in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to join the show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964, which was when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. McCormick also starred in a commercial in the year 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was chosen to play the main character in Wind It Up and It breaks, a production at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the youngest daughter of the three towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a brand new family. The series lasted 5 years. McCormick, in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008, McCormick revealed how during the fifth season of the TV show, she was close to losing her virginity with her twin brother Barry Williams. The actress was only 16 at the time; he was 19. She told me, but the timing was never right for us.
